Where are you located?
We are located in Orange County California, but we service all of Southern California.
What if there is a problem with my rental after hours?
Maximus Event Rentals offers clients with existing orders 24-hour, 7 day a week on call service. If a problem does occur, please call 949-444-3859.
What are your delivery hours?
Our standard delivery hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. However, we do understand that many locations, venues, and events do not fall within these parameters, and therefore, special arrangements can be made to meet your event requirements. Deliveries, installations, and/or pickups that do not fall within our standard delivery hours will be charged additional fees.
Orders
When should I place my order?
As long as we have inventory available, we will rent to you at any time. However, due to demand, we advise placing your order as soon as possible. We require a deposit to confirm rentals.
What if I have to make changes to my order?
Additions are subject to availability of equipment. Changes must be made 48 hours in advance of delivery date. We request that no deletions be made less than 48 hours prior to your order.
Delivery, Setting-up and Returning Rentals
Do you charge for delivery?
Yes, we do. Delivery charges are based on the number of zip code and/or miles. There may be also an additional fee for deliveries with stairs and/or freight elevators, etc. We offer curbside delivery and pickup service for an additional fee. It is highly recommended someone is available on site to meet the truck and sign for the delivery. Standard delivery rates apply during business hours. Before or after-hour deliveries and pickups are available with prior arrangement for an additional fee. More information regarding deliveries can be obtained by contacting your consultant.
Do your drivers set up the equipment?
Maximus Event Rentals drivers can set up equipment at an additional cost. We do not set up linen, chair covers, china, or glassware. More information regarding setups can be obtained by contacting your consultant.
Late returns?
Any merchandise returned after the return date indicated on the invoice will continue to accrue rental fees until merchandise is returned.
How long can I keep the rentals? Is there an extra fee for multiple days?
Customers can keep the rentals for up to 3 days. However, if customer wants to extend rental period additional fees apply. We will deliver, set up, and take down on the days and times that we collectively agree upon! We do our best to accommodate your requests and generally can deliver and pick up in a range that is convenient for you. We are happy to work with you and accommodate your needs.
Payments and Policies?
What are my payment terms?
All orders over $100 require a 50% deposit to lock-in the products. Payments are due in full at least 48 hours prior to delivery. All orders under $100 must be paid in full at the time the contract is executed. A credit card number must be provided as an additional security deposit. If a credit-card cannot be provided, a cash deposit in addition to the balance of the order is required.
What is your cancellation policy?
Any items cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the delivery/will call date will forfeit their deposit. No credit will apply to items that are delivered or setup. These cancellation policies do not apply to special order items. Special order items require up-front payment and will not be refunded.
Optional Damage Waiver:
Customer has the option to accept Maximus Event Rentals Damage Waiver. If Customer accepts Damage Waiver, then Maximus Event Rentals waives all claims against Customer for accidental breakage or damage to Rental Items, with the exception of third-party sub rental items, that occurs despite usage and handling with reasonable care. Items not returned to Maximus Event Rentals within seven (7) days after your event are billed the full replacement cost. Speak with your Maximus Event Rentals consultant to learn more.
The Optional Damage Waiver is not insurance and it does not cover:

Rental items not returned

Theft

Damage resulting from vandalism or intentional or improper misuse

Damage resulting from failure to secure Rental Items during transport, overloading or exceeding the rated capacity of the Rental Items

Damage to motors or other electrical appliances or devices caused by artificial current

Any damage resulting from overturning

Any damage resulting from use of the Rental Items in violation of any provision of this Agreement or violation of any law, ordinance or regulation

Any damage due to weather

Any Damage to third party sub rental items or specialty linens
